Administration
It is very important to us that schools are able to function without any additional administrative burden. Our friendly and knowledgeable Head Office team provide full administration support.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
There is no cost at all to the school - all of our presentations and services are free of charge to schools.
Parents pay Music for Schools directly for lessons and we offer a range of packages, including instruments, to suit different budgets.
WILL SCHOOL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING FEES?
Absolutely not. All tuition fees are collected by Music for Schools. Parents pay via Direct Debit, and contact us if they wish their child to stop lessons.IS THERE A DEDICATED POINT OF CONTACT?
Each school has a Tuition Co-ordinator, who is responsible not only for your school but your tutor as well. They are always your first point of contact should you have any questions or queries. Likewise, your co-ordinator will be in regular contact with you regarding any changes and keeping you updated about new pupils.
WILL SCHOOL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECRUITING NEW PUPILS?
No, we have a representative who visits each school on a rolling 18-24 month programme. For more information about recruiting new pupils, please click here.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING TUTORS ARE THROUGHLY VETTED?
Music for Schools ensure all tutors are fully checked, including an Enhanced DBS check and Disclosure Declaration. All our tutors have Level 2 Safeguarding Training and have completed training in the Prevent Duty. We also seek two references for new tutors and all our tutors have Public Liability insurance up to an indemnity limit of £5m.
