What Happens at a Music Funday?
Pupils usually arrive for a 9.30am start. There is no time to waste and the fun starts straight away, with games, activities and usually there is a first attempt at a big group practice! The music played is usually appropriate to the time of year or theme of the Funday. For example at a Halloween Funday, there maybe some spooky sounds kicking around……….
After lunch, the children are usually separated into instrument sections, so that band parts can be practiced more thoroughly. There will be one more group practice later in the afternoon by which time things are usually sounding much better!
Parents need to be back at the venue by 3pm as there will be an end of day concert, which is always entertaining!
