Year 6 Leaver |
Jamie from Goring Primary will be leaving us to go on to secondary school this summer and his mum sent in this lovely letter -
"Jamie has enjoyed his lessons with Mr Davies and is hopefully going to continue with lessons at his new secondary school.
Thank you for giving Jamie the opportunity to learn the saxophone, at a very reasonable cost per lesson." [ more info ] |
Testimonial! |
It is always nice to hear from parents and pupils already learning through MfSF.
Last week we received a lovely email from Mrs Lock, whose daughter learns clarinet at De Vere Primary School in Castle Hedingham, Essex.
Mrs Lock had the following kind words to share with us.
"My daughter has clarinet lessons with Mrs Stopp and really enjoys it. She really likes the tutor, has done so well and it is so lovely to hear her play. Now her little sister wants to start, and I was so impressed with your organisation.
If it wasnt for MfSF coming into my childrens school, my children wouldnt have had this opportunity to learn to play. The scheme is also such an affordable way to learn an instrument!
I am genuinely very impressed!"
Thanks again to Mrs Lock for taking the time to let us know about her experience with us - we encourage all parents and pupils to email us if you have any other feedback for us!

School Band Festival Success! |
MfSF tutor Mr Kevin Birch has recently advised us that one of his school bands has achieved 2nd place in a music festival!
The Dingle County Primary School currently have over 50 pupils enrolled in the MfSF scheme, and pupils also take part in the band, performing in school fetes, concerts and competitions.
The band have recently performed in the Newcastle Music Festival, and received a First Class Commendation from the judges. This earned them joint second place in the festival.
Congratulations to all who participated, and to all staff for their hard hard work. [ more info ] |
Praise from Suffolk school! |
This week we have received a letter from one of our schools in Suffolk, Sir Robert Hitchams Primary School. We wanted to share the comments made about the scheme and the resident tutor Ms Biddy Channon. We will be recruiting more pupils to the scheme at Sir Robert Hitchams this term and we look forward to continuing the good work that Biddy has started. In 2006-2007 Biddy entered over 20 pupils for exams at this school alone and her results included several merits and distinctions. [ more info ] |
