Why do MfSF offer exams?

Although certainly not a compulsory part of a pupil's time with MfSF, we believe that many pupils benefit from the opportunity to take external examinations. It gives pupils extra motivation, encourages extra practice, which is always a positive thing and also enables pupils to leave primary school with a qualification that other music services can relate to.
