Exams
Here at Music for Schools we understand that the word "Exam" can be a scary one... and not just for the kids! We have detailed our process below so you know what to expect each step of the way.
Step 1 - Entering Your Child
Your child's teacher will usually decide when they are ready to sit an exam. Once you have all agreed on the entry you simply need to click on the Submit Your Child for an Exam link.
Step 2 - Making the Entry
Before making you entry you will need to have the following:
- Your child's MFSF account number - found on your latest invoice
- Know which instrument they are playing? eg. is it a Mini or Full Size Clarinet?
- Your credit or debit card to hand in order to pay
Step 3 - Notification of Exam Date
Music for Schools will advise all parents via email once the ABRSM have informed us of the exam dates and times (can be only 2 weeks notice). Please remember that exams are usually within the working week and during school time. Should you have any issues with the date allocated please advise us as soon as possible.
Step 4 - Final Preparation
Book your child in for a run-through with the exam pianist before the day.
